FTC Decarbonizer | DPF Cleaner

★★★★★ from customers of CEM Australia, our parent company

FTC Decarbonizer is the ultimate DPF cleaner, catalyst and diesel engine decarbonizer. It eliminates harmful carbon deposits, cylinder glazing, and buildup throughout the entire combustion and exhaust system — including turbos, EGR valves, catalytic converters, and DPF filters.

THE ULTIMATE DPF CLEANER & DIESEL DECARBONIZER

Carbon Buildup: The Modern Diesel Engine's Worst Enemy

Today's high-efficiency diesel engines with advanced emission systems are particularly vulnerable to performance-robbing carbon deposits. These deposits don't just reduce power and economy — they can cause catastrophic failures in expensive components like DPF filters, turbos, EGR valves, and emission sensors that cost thousands to replace.

As deposits accumulate, symptoms become increasingly severe: reduced power, excessive smoke, hard starting, poor fuel economy, and eventually dashboard warning lights indicating emission system failures.

FTC Decarbonizer works differently than conventional additives. Its specialised formula actively breaks down and removes the hardest carbon deposits throughout the entire combustion and exhaust path. It penetrates and eliminates cylinder glazing — a condition where combustion deposits create a hard, glass-like surface that prevents proper piston ring sealing, leading to oil consumption and power loss.

By promoting faster, more complete combustion, FTC prevents new deposit formation while progressively removing existing ones. This comprehensive cleaning action restores proper function to turbos, EGR valves, catalytic converters, oxygen sensors and DPF filters — often eliminating the need for expensive replacements or forced regeneration procedures.

Key Benefits:

Our customers report immediate improvements in performance, reduced fuel consumption, less smoke and easier starting. Regular use provides ongoing protection that prevents the progressive damage leading to major component failures — saving thousands in repair costs while extending your vehicle's useful life.

How to use it

Honestly, this is the whole job:

  1. 1

    Measure the dose

Use the dose rate on the label — the bottle cap is your measure.

  2. 2

    Pour it in

Add it to your fuel or oil at fill-up or service. No workshop, no tools.

  3. 3

    Drive as normal

The clean-up happens while you work. Most people notice a difference within two to three tanks.

Precautions — the straight talk

  • Keep out of reach of children. Not for drinking — it's engine treatment, not cordial.
  • Avoid skin and eye contact — wash with water if it happens. Gloves are a good idea when dosing.
  • Store sealed, upright and away from heat or ignition sources — treat it like fuel.
  • Stick to the dose rate on the label — more isn't better, it's just wasted product.

What it's done for others

Reviews from customers of Cost Effective Maintenance Australia — our parent company. Same products, 30+ years of results, now here in NZ.

"2006 Hilux, 285,000 km on the clock. Smoked on every hill. Two tanks and it's gone — and it's using less oil between services now."

Dave M. · Owner-operator, QLD · via CEM Australia

"Run it across our five Rangers for 18 months. Cold shifts are smoother, the noisy diff went quiet, and the fuel cards show it on the long hauls."

Sarah T. · Small fleet operator, NSW · via CEM Australia

"I tell customers most additives are snake oil. Ran it through a sludged-up Territory before its service — what came out in the drain pan told the whole story."

Mike R. · Mechanic, VIC · via CEM Australia

It pays for itself

A cleaner engine burns less fuel, uses less oil and puts off expensive repairs. One bottle costs less than an hour of workshop time — and you don't have to book anything.
